Darrell K. Choates, Sr. - Chief Executive Officer

The Choates Family of Companies is anchored by CEO Darrell K. Choates, Sr., who has overseen the rapid growth of both the organization's core construction business as well as an expanding portfolio of other ventures.

Mr. Choates, one of the four generations of his family working at his eponymous enterprise, has over four decades of experience in the construction industry, which he draws upon when leading the company's several large-scale development projects, the non-profit Logan Community Enterprise Center, and home health care ventures.

Ms. Kulsuma Khanom is currently serving as the C.O.O. at Choates Family of Companies, LLC, where she has been making significant contributions since January 2020. Her extensive career spans various roles in the healthcare sector, including over five years as a Home Health Aide with organizations such as EZ Homecare, Salus Homecare, and America's Home Health Services, Inc., reflecting her deep commitment to providing exceptional care and support. Ms. Khanom also possesses a solid background in finance, having worked as an accountant at Aunty Anne’s and as a teller at Wells Fargo, demonstrating her versatility and capability in managing different professional roles effectively.

Educationally, Ms. Khanom is well-qualified, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration/Management and an Associate's degree in Medical Office Management/Administration, both from Kaplan University. She also earned an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Post University. These academic achievements have equipped her with a robust foundation to excel in health care management and operations.

In addition to her operational expertise, Ms. Khanom has over six years of experience in QA Automation, where she has shown proficiency in various SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Kanban. Her skills in software testing, leading agile teams, and developing automated test scripts for REST APIs highlight her technical acumen and leadership capabilities. These competencies make her an invaluable asset to her organization, ensuring successful project outcomes and enhanced operational efficiency.


FARHANA JABIN - LOCATION: USA

Farhana Jabin serves as the Vice President of Operations at Choates Family of Companies, LLC, where she plays a pivotal role in leading the company through project management and quality control. Her expertise extends to ensuring project safety compliance and overseeing the preparation and review of executive contracts. Farhana ensures all projects comply with local and state requirements and manages project materials submittals.

Working closely with the CEO CFO, she is instrumental in project budget management. Farhana also oversees human relations protocols for the organization, maintaining a focus on efficiency and compliance across all operations. Her leadership ensures that Choates Family continues to uphold its reputation for excellence in every aspect of its operations. In addition to leading the IT division with our director of IT department head.

Prentiss Redding Jr. - Partner

Prentiss Redding Jr. is a highly accomplished aerospace professional, boasting over 18 years of expertise in facilities engineering and project management. He earned his MBA specializing in Project Management from Liberty University in 2020, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Georgia Southern University in 2005. His educational achievements are complemented by an array of professional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt, as well as multiple safety and compliance certifications that underscore his technical proficiency and commitment to industry standards.

Prentiss's career has been marked by prominent leadership roles such as the Director of Building & Plan Review at Henry County Government from December 2021 to June 2023, and Senior Facilities Engineer/Project Manager at Triumph Aerostructures - Vought Aircraft Division, where he served from May 2005 to December 2021. During his tenure in these positions, he was instrumental in spearheading complex engineering projects, managing cross-functional teams, and enforcing stringent compliance with governmental regulations and safety protocols. His expertise spans a broad spectrum of technical skills, including advanced automation, robotics, and comprehensive management of industrial equipment, which have been pivotal to the success of the operations he has led.

The Choates Family of Companies welcomes Evans M. Barba, PE, PSP, CFCC to head the Choates FOC Claims and Risk Management Division.

Mr. Barba specializes in providing construction program management, claims avoidance, and disputes resolution services on domestic and international projects.

Mr. Barba has over 40 years’ experience in engineering design, construction program and project management, contract administration, critical path method scheduling, and claims avoidance and disputes resolution. He has directed hundreds of program management and disputes resolution assignments across a broad range of infrastructure, power, commercial, environmental, transportation, healthcare, hospitality, detention, and industrial projects, as well as complex development and acquisition programs.

Mr. Barba was a CEO for Hill International, and has managed projects worth over 100 billion dollars.

Mr. Barba has completed many significant claims and schedule delay/disruption analysis assignments.

Mr. Barba has performed numerous Contract Compliance and Contract Closeout Audits.

Mr. Barba has also been involved in a number of significant program/project management assignments.

Irit has over 12 years of experience ranging in the Medical field- 6 years as a credentialing and On-Boarding Coordinator and provider relations and 6 years clinically in an outpatients setting. She is  proficient in using various software applications such as, EPIC, Cactus , EchoOne, IDX, Navinet, E-Clinical Works, Microsoft Office and Excel. Perform primary source verification on all components of the practitioner's file; including licensure, board certification, relevant education, and training

Implement the Provider enrollment and credentialing process for requested carriers. Maintain the timelines on enrollment/credentialing schedules, communicate with providers and other departments to update as needed, clarify carrier information requirements

Responds to inquiries from other healthcare organizations and departments on day-to-day credentialing and privileging issues as they arise

Complete Medicare and Medicaid enrollment application for all practitioners within the group 

Initiated the idea to purchase the ECHONEAPP credentialing software to better and assist the credentialing process

Scheduled 4 demo with 4 different credentialing software vendors

Initiated and managed a project with UnitedHealth Care to enroll all the practitioners in a large group providers under various group contracts
